On September 17, 2022 The Friends of Fort Harrison State Park and the City of Lawrence will host their fourth “BBQ & Blues Festival” at the Cherry Tree parking area in Fort Harrison State Park.

Food for purchase will be offered by local vendors Da Blue Lagoon, MJ's Backyard BBQ, South’s BBQ , A Taste of Home Cooking, TNT Catering, and MOO & Lou’s Frozen desserts. Visitors will enjoy music all afternoon beginning at Noon, provided by John Ford, Queen Delphine and the Crown Jewels, King Bee and the Stingers, and The Ambassadors.
