CLASSICAL SUNDAYS AT THE FORT:
THE CASTLETON QUARTET

The Castleton Quartet, features violinists Jennifer Farquhar and Vince Meklis, violist Amy Kniffen, and SRA member and cellist, Perry Scott. This program looks at W. A. Mozart and the colorful character of Joseph Bologne, the Chevalier St. Georges, and why Mozart is well remembered and Chevalier St. George is not.

Who makes it into the history books and why? This string quartet program takes a look at W. A. Mozart, the colorful character of Joseph Bologne, the Chevalier St. Georges, the impact well-known composer Antonin Dvorak and unknown student Harry T. Burleigh had on each other and finishes up with a buoyant movement by Florence Price.
