Brenda is passionate about helping to build healthier, more sustainable communities. She recently completed a PhD in collaborative leadership in social innovation and addressing wicked public challenges. She serves as the President and CEO of Rethink Coalition, which works with city, state, INDOT, business, and community leaders to coordinate decision-making around rebuilding the rest of the I-65/I-70 Inner Loop in downtown Indianapolis (minus the North Split just rebuilt) with recessed interstate construction to position the city for a thriving future for the next 50 years. Brenda also teaches at Butler University in the Lacy School of Business.
